Maternal Mental Health: NOW OFFERING VIDEO SESSIONS FROM HOME!
Three of our therapists are trained by Postpartum Support International to provide psychotherapy to mothers during pregnancy as well as after the birth of their child to help new and expectant mothers adapt to this new life transition. Motherhood can be isolating and can affect the way women see themselves or their role in life as well as in their relationships with friends, family, and spouses. Some women can also experience signs of depression, anxiety, or other challenging emotions. You don’t have to go through this alone. Feel free to contact our clinicians to learn more about how we can help.

Parent Training: NOW OFFERING VIDEO SESSIONS FROM HOME!
Young children, those with behavioral and emotional dysregulation challenges, and those with limited language may have difficulty benefiting from standard psychotherapy. In these instances, we provide Parent Training. Parent Training does not imply that you do not know how to parent or that you are not a good enough parent. Instead, we recognize that some children present with symptoms that are difficult to manage and it is not always instinctual to know how to respond.
In Parent Training sessions, we work with parents on building structure, reinforcement, and learning to send consistent message to your child to promote more positive behaviors. We incorporate aspects of Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Parent Management Training, along with our knowledge of behavioral reinforcement and emotional regulation to help you to work with the unique challenges that your child presents so that you can learn to communicate more positively and work towards achieving behavioral goals.
Now, we are including a special emphasis on managing challenges in home-schooling. This period of time can be challenging enough. Let us help you prepare your child for a more positive home-schooling experience.
