We are a team of trained professionals experienced in providing assessment and therapeutic services from early childhood through adulthood.
Through our assessments, our neuropsychologists, Dr. O’Sullivan and Dr. Tam, are aimed at identifying the challenges that exist and providing appropriate recommendations to aid your child in gaining access to services to promote their growth. Common challenges assessed include learning disabilities, Autism, developmental and neurological challenges, and secondary effects of brain injuries.
Our therapists are trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). These are evidence-based therapies that are aimed at helping you or your child to be aware of how thought processes can affect mood, and therein affect behaviors. We work with patients and parents to develop positive strategies and ways of coping with life’s stresses to promote a healthy mindset. Our therapists are also trained in perinatal mood disorders, which allows us to help patients who are pregnant or post-pregnancy to cope with stressors, mood changes, and hormone fluctuations while adjusting to the demands of motherhood.
"There are three musts that hold us back: I must do well. You must treat me well. And the world must be easy."
